Daniel Rosenbaum is an interior designer and ice sculptor at the world renowned ICEHOTEL in Sweden. The above selection of projects includes interior spaces, furniture details and sculptures created by Rosenbaum during winters 2003-2006.
Located 200km north of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland, Icehotel is recreated each year using thousands of tonnes of snow and ice. The average indoor temperature at Icehotel is -5°C while outdoor temperatures often fall below -30°C. Each spring, Icehotel slowly melts, leaving behind little more than raindeer skins, memories and photographic evidence.
